About Hanuman in the brass tradition.
Hanuman — also called Bajrangbali or Maruti — is the monkey-faced deity of strength, devotion, and protection. In brass idol tradition, he is most commonly depicted in the Panchamukhi (five-faced) form or the standing/flying form carrying the Sanjeevani mountain. His vahana is none (he travels by his own power), and his most distinctive feature is the mace (gada) he carries in his right hand.
Worship context.
Hanuman is central to Tuesday and Saturday worship, Hanuman Jayanti (his birthday, typically in April), and daily protection rituals. He is also worshipped alongside Ram Darbar sets. The Panchamukhi Hanuman — five faces representing the five elements (fire, air, water, earth, sky) — is a particularly powerful brass composition.

Hanuman idols used for daily puja should be anointed with sindoor (vermillion) and oil as part of worship. Wipe with dry cloth between worship sessions. Avoid chemical cleaners on sindoor-marked areas.
